In 2018, Daybreak Housing received financial support from municipal and provincial governments for infrastructure repairs,  as well as its ecumenical base of churches, generous grants from private and public foundations, and donors such as yourselves.

We were very lucky to be the recipients of special grants: $10,000 from the Home Depot Canada Foundation to support the Daybreak beautification project.  $20,000 from the SPROTT Foundation to provide emergency assistance for the replacement of furniture and bedding destroyed by a bed bug infestation.

 

In 2019, we received $14,000 from the Ottawa Community Foundation for a Living Healthy Lifestyle project administered by The Real You

In the coming year, we hope to continue our good fortune, including donations from our year-end campaign. We can already thank  St Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church and Centretown Pharmacy for their generous annual contributions to help our residents in 2019.
